Joachim, <p> The package installs the menu items into /opt/kde/share/applnk/Office/. This menu is global for all users, not just "root". <p> If you are not seeing the "Office" submenu as a non-root user, you might want to check your local KDE settings. <p> I installed the package as "root", and the OpenOffice menu items are available in the "Office" submenu for all users.
